Tank Hero Laser Wars Download

This genre was made for it. My friends and I still play Wii Play Tanks because of the awesome
multiplay
A new puzzle action game Tank Hero ~ Laser Wars edition is here. Tank Hero fans, it time to play it again. Tank Hero: Laser Wars has a new 3D graphics engine with hyper realistic lighting and special effects. 2 worlds with interactive environments which include force fields and exploding barrels. Power ups to help in epic boss battles. And new split screen death match mode. Check out below video demo to find out more.
erTank Hero is definitely an old-school favorite ’round these parts and today we learned that the developer Clapfoot Inc. has released the balls-to-the-wall sequel — Take Hero: Laser Wars — today on Google Play. Where the original focused more on its solid gameplay, I never could find myself getting into the visuals which were designed to look like toy tanks and environments, and less of a real nitty-gritty action shooter. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Clapfoot decided to go for a more serious approach this time around, with an entirely new gaming engine with realistic lighting effects and detailed textures. Bravo, Clapfoot. Bra-freakin’-vo.

There’s also a little more to the sequel than a graphics revamp. THLW now features a 2-player splitscreen deathmatch mode (tablets only), boss battles and all new environments. The game is also one, all inclusive 22MB download (no extra system resources download) and there’s no license check which means the game should work just fine when your phone or tablet doesn’t have an active data connection.
Features include:
  • All new 3D graphics engine with hyper realistic lighting and special effects
  • Two unique worlds to conquer
  • Interactive environments that include force fields, exploding barrels, and more
  • Super charge your tank on the battlefield with powerups such as energy shields and speed boost
  • Epic boss battles that will put your skills to the ultimate test
  • Split screen deathmatch mode
  • All new achievements system
  • 4 difficulty levels to accommodate all types of players
  • Original soundtrack
The developer did mention that because the first title was so successful, they’ve taken there game dev’ing full time. This means Take Hero: Laser Wars will no longer be a free title, but on the brightside, it will now remain ad-free. I have no problem supporting Android developers — especially good ones –  and have already downloaded Take Hero: Laser Wars for only $3 on Google Play. You should too.

The gift for Women's Day

This Women's Day make the lady in your life feel special and not just by wishing her Happy Woman's Day, but also by giving her the ultimate gift - the mobile phone she always wanted. Phones become the perfect gifting option one can choose and with the wide range of price options available it does not even hurt the pocket too much. So helping you out here we have the top 5 smartphone gifting options that you can choose for gifting your dear ones this Women's Day. This list comprises of smartphones across price categories so you can choose the right one for you based on the power of your pocket.
Starting form the youth oriented Galaxy Y our Top 5 list includes popular smartphones across platforms, such as Android based Micromax Bling 2, Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro, Symbian based Nokia N8 Pink, and the Apple iPhone 4S with iOS.
Micromax Bling 2 (Price Rs 6,200)
Encrusted with Swarovski crystals and with a glossy white finish the Bling 2 looks amazingly beautiful and Micromax has decided to shed the pink highlights, which was a really good decision. The phone looks classy and is definitely an object of attention. Along with the phone, users also get a Satya Paul designed clutch and mobile holder.
The 2.8 inch display is a smooth capacitive touchscreen. Its resolution isn't very good, but Bling 2 compensates for that with ample colour vibrancy and brightness.
The 600 MHz processor gives it all the power needed for multitasking and for Android 2.2 Froyo operating system. It has a 3 megapixel fixed focus camera which clicks good images in daylight but the quality falls badly in low light conditions. Bling 2 has one memory card slot which is expandable up to 16 GB, but it would be advisable to use 4 to 8 GB external memory to ensure smooth and error free performance. The device has a 3.5 mm jack for headset and audio connectivity as well so you can easily connect any headphone to it.

Skitch for Android gets maps, save images to SD card

Using the map feature is a two-step process. Tapping on the Map icon on the home screen launches a live map. Here you can pinch, pan and zoom or search for what you need. Tapping anywhere on the map will drop a pin to mark a location. Now that you’ve framed your map, it’s time to mark it up. Tap on the Skitch icon to begin annotating the map with arrows, text and freehand lines. When you’re finished, you can save or share the map.

Skitch for Android gets maps, ability to save images to SD card, bug fixes

Evernote keeps making its image annotating app Skitch better and better. They’ve just released version 1.4, introducing several new features, which we’ll briefly explore in the text that follows.
First there’s support for Maps, so you can (for instance) easily show directions to anyone. Tap on the Maps icon in Skitch, then select some place on the map to drop a pin and mark a location. Now, mark it up with arrows, text and freehand lines, and once you’re done save it or share it with whomever you like.
Then there’s the ability to save images to an SD card, which was apparently one of the most requested features. Not for me though, since my Galaxy S II has 16GB of built-in storage and that’s more than enough for my needs.
The text tool has been improved as well and now when you start typing, the text will appear in place over the image. Moreover, you can drag the text to move it to a different location, pinch it to adjust its size — all without having to change to the finger tool.
Finally, some of the bugs have been squashed, further improving the app’s stability…

Update Samsung S Pen SDK to version 2.0

Samsung keeps updating its S Pen SDK, allowing developers to make apps that run on the Galaxy Note devices. Version 2.0 of the SDK is out, packing a number of improvements over the previous release (version 1.5), including:
  • SCanvasView Class inherited from CanvasView has been added – so that developers can animate their drawings and record/play audio files over it. Moreover, it allows for special effects such as scratch, mosaic, blur, sketch, etc.
  • Added new Library Class – SAMM (Samsung Animated Multimedia Messaging), which is used for encoding/decoding of multimedia data supporting drawing, text, stamp, icon, snapshot image, voice and data exchange between apps using the same SDK.
  • Drawing improvements – enhanced stroke and segmentation rendering, added undo function after clear, and the ability to add image and text to the CanvasView.
In addition, some defects of the SDK 1.5 have been corrected and source code for the new features added.
Interested developers can get the S Pen SDK 2.0 from here and if their app rocks, potentially win something at Sammy’s S Pen app challenge.
Samsung’s latest contributions to the Android ecosystem include the recently launched S Pen functionality. It is not exactly new, but it is still in the process of taking off. And very few developers have integrated such functionality to their apps. In an effort to ease the transition, Samsung has just released a new version of their S Pen SDK, further enticing devs to make the jump.
SDK version 2.0 offers some good improvements over last version - 1.5. But lets take a look at exactly what these improvements include.

S Pen SDK 2.0 improvements:

  • The SCanvasView Class inherited from CanvasView has been added: Using this class and method, developers can animate their drawings and record/play audio files over it; Special effects such as scratch, mosaic, blur, sketch, etc are supported.
  • SAMM (Samsung Animated Multimedia Messaging) Library Class has been added:SAMM is the library encoding/decoding of multimedia data supporting drawing, text, stamp, icon, snapshot image, voice and data exchange between apps using the same SDK.
  • Several improvements have been made in drawings: Stroke and segmentation rendering have been enhanced; Undo function after clear all has been added; Developers can now add image and text to the CanvasView.
  • Sample source is added for new features.

Defects in SDK 1.5 have been corrected.

  • Errors occurred when exporting the package with proguard have been fixed.
Samsung S Pen functionality looks very promising, especially with Samsung being the most popular Android manufacturer. There is sure to be a good market in the future. I specifically likes the multi-screen functionality that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 offers, and believe that creative developers out there can make some great products.
Hit the source link for more information about the new SDK, and let us know what you think. We will have to wait and see how well this takes off. But for now, tell us what apps you would like to see S Pen functionality in! Are any of you planning to get an S Pen-capable device?

Samsung Galaxy Note aims 10 million for 2013

The Samsung Galaxy Note:
It is also thin with an 8 Mp camera and comes with its own stylus. It probably seems strange that Samsung have introduced the stylus again, but it works well and is accurate to work with. It is perfect for those who like a big screen and with the stylus feature it makes taking notes, writing shopping lists etc a very easy thing to do.
The Samsung Galaxy Note doubles as both a tablet and a smartphone meaning you only have to carry a single device. That is great news for those of us who don’t want to be paying for two SIM cards. The built in browser supports Flash which is also great news. It is available in 16 Gb or 32 Gb and the option to increase memory with the addition of an SD card.
Galaxy Note Logo
Is a weird device - it has a huge 5.3-inch display which some might think is too big. For others Goliath-handed fellows it’s just perfect, and now its sales have hit 2 million units proving that it has a place under the smartphone/tablet sun. What’s more, Samsung expects sales of the Note to soar to 10 million by the end of 2012.
Samsung Galaxy Note sales hit 2 million, aims for 10 million by 2013

Currently, the Galaxy Note is one of the devices getting special attention at MWC where artists draw caricatures of visitors with the built-in S Pen Wacom stylus.

The Galaxy Note represents a new kind of device blurring the line between a tablet and a phone. It’s portable, but sacrifices a bit on the esthetics (imagine holding something that big to your ear on the street) and it will hardly fit in tight jeans.

Call it a phablet, a tablet-phone, but fact is that it has carved in a niche that other manufacturers were quick to go in. The LG Optimus Vu for example is a similarly large, 5-inch handset unveiled just before MWC. The Panasonic Eluga’s screen also measures at 5 inches on the diagonal.

Do people need it? “I think people don’t know what they need,” Samsung product strategy executive Hankil Yoon said. “But as soon as they start using it, they think that’s what they need.”

As frank as it is, there’s true to that. If we take the iPhone for example, its 3.5-inch screen was huge when it arrived, and now some people turn to other operating system because they think it’s too small. While we’re sure that time will tell what size is right, you can chime in with your opinion below - is 5.3-inch stretching it?
