Currently, the PlayBook users may have root access and up deep in the system with software Dingleberry. You can use this software to root OS 1.x and OS 2.0 Beta. The question then is the root machine to do? In fact if you do not need to be root to do anything, but if you root it is immediate can install Android Market on PlayBook, then they can install the Android App Market straight PlayBook through, or copied directly apk file on your computer, then to convert it before the BAR file.
